Thousands of people follow what British style blogger Susie Lau, a.k.a. Susie Bubble, wears every day on her blog Style Bubble, so she must have been planning her NYFW outfits for weeks—and with fantastic results. Lau wore her kitty sweater underneath a checkered suit with a flouncy full skirt. Her white brogue heels pop against her black tights without ruining the cool monochrome effect of her look. Bug-eyed round sunglasses and a topknot complete this super-cute outfit.

Tip #2: Aubergine outerwear feels fresher than black

The look would’ve been very springy if it weren’t for her aubergine jacket, a piece that will transition excellently from winter to spring. Mustaparta’s denim blue satchel offsets the color nicely.
