The activewear market is booming and with the growing number of emerging sportswear brands, business savvy ready-to-wear designers aren’t willing to miss out on all the fun. While Stella McCartney, has been working with adidas for over a decade and Norma Kamali has been pushing sportswear for years, it took the rise in boutique fitness and the juice craze to kickstart the trend of melding fashion and function. Since it’s now commonly accepted to wear workout clothes outside of a gym setting, clearly this isn’t a trend that will be ceasing anytime soon.
