Androgyny is having a moment in fashion. The industry is embracing models like Rain Dove, who models both men’s and women’s clothes, and celebrities like Ruby Rose, who recently landed a deal with Urban Decay. And retailers are following suit, churning out gender-free designs now more than ever. Selfridges launched a pop-up shop called Agender, and Zara recently announced its first unisex collection, Ungendered. Released under Zara’s affordable TRF line, the gender-free collection of tees, sweatshirts and denim is priced under $50.
