Stella McCartney has worked long and hard to make a name for herself in the fashion industry. But now the designer is paying tribute to her famous father with her new collection. All Together Now is an homage to Paul McCartney and the other fab three that features colorful creations celebrating The Beatles’ iconic film Yellow Submarine and the accompanying soundtrack.
The film marked its 50th anniversary last year with a special screening and Stella was clearly moved after seeing the movie. “It affected me in a way I just wasn’t expecting. Especially this idea of connecting people and bringing people together — politically this message has never been more relevant. So, I came out and I was like ‘I have to do something,’” she explained.
The collection is comprised of 85 psychedelic pieces, from colorful sweaters to dresses. Proving all we need is love and that fabulous fur-free coat.
