We genuinely do not know where you’ve been, if you weren’t already aware of the fact that Pieter Mulier is now installed as creative director of Versace (succeeding Dario Vitale). Until Mulier’s highly anticipated debut (currently projected for February 2027 during Milan Fashion Week), we continue to receive interim advertising campaigns. The powers that be at the Prada Group-owned Versace HQ continue to champion Steven Meisel as campaign photographer. For the Fall 2026 season, Meisel points his masterful lens toward models Saar Mansvelt Beck, Alaina Rae, and Elodie Guipaud (joined by male models Bai Ruien and Wiley Rhoads). Throughout the campaign, honouring the foundational Versace house codes, the cast (styled by Karl Templer) are surrounded by archival issues of Vogue Italia spanning the 1990s and 2000s.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Interesting. It’s not something I absolutely loved; I think it looks more like an editorial than a campaign per se. However, one thing I applaud Meisel for is the care he has always taken with the hair,” remarked DK92.
“I love the set design,” admired forum member kokobombon.
“Honestly, I’m just pleased to see another Versace campaign from Steven Meisel. In no way, shape, or form is this Meisel’s finest for Versace. However, it’s still a very strong and visually appealing interim campaign as we await Pieter Mulier’s debut. I love the inclusion of all the archival Vogue Italia material,” shared vogue28.
